MEDICAL ELECTRODES
As technology continues to advance, medical electrodes are poised to play an increasingly critical role in preventive medicine, early diagnosis, and improved outcomes.

The technology
The electrodes used in medical devices operate by conveying the body’s ionic current energy into electrical current. They help yield non-invasive tests for various muscular, nervous, ocular, cardiac, and other disorders that may otherwise require surgical means to verify their presence.

Commercially available electrodes consist of different materials including plastics, metal and conductive gel or paste necessary to conduct electricity and acquire the related signal.
Our commitment
At Henesis, we have developed and patented the extraction and production process of an innovative material to manufacture the first eco-friendly alternative in the market of medical electrodes, conceived for medical applications such as electrocardiogram (ECG), electroencephalogram (EEG) and electromyography (EMG).

Thanks to its innovative composition (patent pending), the material is completely biodegradable, breathable, self-adhesive, conformable, well tolerated even by highly sensitive skins.

Our entirely internal production process allows us to customise the chemical composition of the material and the layout (shape, size, connector type), to develop both disposable or reusable electrodes with mechanic properties which are tailored on specific vertical applications.

From Nature to Innovation
The first 100% organic, breathable, self-adhesive, conformable and stretchable sensing technology conceived for medical electrodes.
