“La mente meditante” artistic performance in Rome

We are humbled to be chosen as one of the main partners for the event “LA MENTE MEDITANTE. Art, Science and an Enlightened Mind”, to be held at MAXXI Museo nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo from 20th to 24th September 2022, in collaboration with Daniel Lumera, Giacomo Rizzolatti (Italian neuroscientist and academic) and Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche.

The topic will evolve around an avant-garde performance that combines art, neuroscience and meditation. The neural activity of Daniel’s brain will be monitored during meditative practice for 5 days, 7 hours per day.

Key exponents from the world of art and science will be involved in advanced meditation techniques, with the aim to get insights, suggestions, new perspectives and interpretations.
