REHABILITATION

Challenge
Epidemiologic studies estimate that 15% of the world’s population lives with disabilities and that 2.4 billion people require rehabilitation. These figures will rise due to the growing and ageing population and the increasing disease complexity and chronicity. In this scenario, rehabilitation services should respond to the increasing demand for long-term disease management and aim to increase mobility, cognition, sensory functions, and wellbeing. Contextual factors, such as social and environmental, can be determinants in access to rehabilitation services. 

Home-based rehabilitation and telerehabilitation are valuable strategies to be adopted when other ways of providing rehab services are limited or not feasible.
Our commitment
We are committed to providing a solution allowing healthcare facilities and professionals to integrate telerehabilitation programs into standard in-person care, motivating patients with new and stimulating activities that can be performed autonomously and safely.
ARC intellicare, make rehabilitation smarter!
ARC intellicare is a CE marked Medical Device that supports and enhances clinical practice, making rehabilitation simple, accessible, and customisable. ARC intellicare has been designed in close cooperation with end users, to meet the usability requirements of older adult patients, their caregivers, and rehabilitation professionals. R&D was co-founded by the Pre-Commercial-Procurement H2020-MAGIC, project.

Chaotic part
Henon (1931-2013) was a mathematician, which discovered an attractor (“mathematician of chaos”): human body, especially brain, as very complex and chaotic system.
