R&D AREAS

REHABILITATION

Advanced line of research in the motor and respiratory rehabilitation sector.
Henesis has developed ARC intellicare, a platform and device for home-based rehabilitation, targeting both older adult patients affected by different types of disabling conditions (e.g., neurologic, orthopaedics, respiratory) and healthy seniors living in communities. ARC intellicare is expected to be launched on the rehabilitation market by Q4 2021.

BRAIN COMPUTER INTERFACE

Following an open innovation approach, Henesis is successfully involved in R&D projects aimed at leveraging Brain Computer Interface (BCI) and Artificial Intelligence techniques, based on electroencephalography (EEG) and other physiological signals, to develop brain-based applications in the fields of robot assisted living, social robotics and rehabilitation.

BIOSENSORS

Microfabrication of portable and wearable biosensors based on organic aerosol 3D-printing techniques, targeting multiple applications, from pre-clinical research to precision medicine and point of care testing.
